YES, MARKOS ADMITS HE SPENT THE 1980'S AS A REAGAN REPUBLICAN!!

Read Markos' article entitled "The Case for the Libertarian Democrat"
to learn more about how Markos spent the 1980's as a Reagan Republican.

Last year, in a peice Markos wrote for the Cato (libertarian) Institute, Markos admitted that the spent the 1980's as a Reagan Republican. He explained,

It was my fealty to the notion of personal liberty that made me a Republican when I came of age in the 1980s. It is my continued fealty to personal liberty that makes me a Democrat today. (emphasis added) Markos: The Case for the Libertarian Democrat.
Wasn't Ronald Reagan the President of the United States in the 1980's, slashing funding for school lunches, invading El Salvador and Guatemala, siding with the Apartheid government in South Africa against political prisoner Nelson Mandela? Wasn't Ronald Reagan president in the 1980's, tearing down affirmative action, appointing Jeanne Kirkpatrick Ambassador to the United Nations? And during all of this, Markos Alberto Moulitsas Zúniga was a Republican???!!!
